Kiyoung Peik was born in 1969 in Gangwon-do, Pyungchang-si, South Korea and currently lives and works in Ansan-si. He majored in Fine Arts at the Hongik University in Seoul, and in Media Art at Muenster Kunstakademie in Germany.
He has realized numerous his artistic works like ˇ°Garden & Immigration Projectˇ± as well he participated in several Public Art projects. His experience has continued to curatorial works; since he has contributed to expand Artist in Residence in Republic of Korea, he worked as a founder of Uijae Art Studio in Gwangju, Changmoon Ecovillage Residency, Chief Curator of Gyeongi Creation Center and Chief Curator at Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art.
